Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky went to the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan, for a surprise visit made possible by the France. On the spot, the leader has delivered a real diplomatic offensive, especially with some emerging countries that still refuse to impose sanctions on Russia.

The G7's call on China calling on the Middle Kingdom to put pressure on Russia to stop its aggression against Ukraine is clearly not appreciated by Beijing. "The G7 trumpets that it intends to move towards a peaceful, stable and prosperous world. But in fact, it hinders world peace," a Chinese spokesman said.
