Fires continue to rage in Canada on Friday, so much so that smoke is released as far as Norway. More than a hundred million Americans are affected by air pollution.
An event celebrating LGBT+ Pride Month, which was scheduled to take place Thursday night at the White House outdoors, has been postponed. "We do not see a serious peak or significant increase [...]. So we don't see an environmental problem [in Norway] or a serious health risk," a researcher warned. "It reminded me a lot of September 11, to see the sky filled with smoke," a New York City resident said.
