China's first self-built scientific research icebreaker "Snow Dragon 2" visited Hong Kong for the first time. This is also the second visit to Hong Kong by a Chinese polar scientificresearch icebreaker in nearly 20 years since the "Snow dragon" docked in Hong Kong in 2004.

The "Xuelong 2" is the world's first polarResearch icebreaker that can break ice in both the bow and stern directions. Its icebreaking capability is stronger than that of the " Xuelong", which makes the scientific expedition easier.
