The 2023 Jiangxi Province Pneumococcal Disease Prevention and Control Academic Exchange Conference was hosted by the Jiangxi Preventive Medicine Association. The participating experts and scholars jointly discussed the immune prevention and control of pneumococcal disease in children.
"Let us work together to prevent and control childhood pneumonia and protect the healthy growth of children," said Hu Guoliang, president of the association. The conference also discussed how to improve the vaccination rate of 13-valent pneumonia vaccine from three aspects: outpatient notification, mother's class and in-depth infectious disease knowledge education.
