[HIGHLIGHTS] Embezzlement: Hubert Falco, his "fridge", his ham and his "friend of 30 years"

Mayor of Toulon Hubert Falco is accused of embezzling public funds for meals. The meals were supposedly paid by the departmental council of the Var for three years.

The former president of the department, Marc Giraud, denies the charges. He says he knew nothing of the rumors circulating on a fridge dedicated to dinners and weekend meals for Falco, nor of the assumption on the account of a public market of the expenses of pressing the mayor ofToulon.
