4 ministries and 4 institutions in Morocco signed a protocol of agreement with the aim of completing the gas infrastructure development program in the country. The protocol - which extends over several years - aims to provide the Kingdom with several ports for importing liquefied natural gas, in addition to an infrastructure for storing and transporting natural gas.

Morocco is working to invest more in renewable energies, as well as establishing partnerships within the framework of green hydrogen, as the country is among the top 5 producers of solar energy among Arab countries.
