EFE: Israel and Hamas agreed on the main points for a 40-day truce. 40 Israeli hostages and 404 Palestinian prisoners will be released during this truce.

In the first phase of the truce, Israel is expected to withdraw troops from urban centers in the Gaza Strip and allow residents to return to the northern and central areas of the Palestinian enclave. At least 500 trucks carrying humanitarian aid will be allowed into Gaza on a daily basis. CNN previously reported that Hamas could not collect information about the hostages without a ceasefire.
