EC antimonopoly services suspected EU tire manufacturers of price fixing. EC has a suspicion that there has been a price collusion between tire manufacturers.

In December, the Federal Antimonopoly Service opened cases against LUKOIL subsidiaries in Nizhny Novgorod and Perm due to markups on gasoline at gas stations. The checks apply to tires for cars, vans, trucks and buses that are sold in the European Economic Area. The European Commission conducted inspections at several companies producing car tires in the EU.
