National Veterinary Institute, SVA, is launching a new service, "Report your tick" Since 2018, the public has been able to report findings of ticks in the northern part of the country, where ticks were previously uncommon. The service will be launched on SVA's website at the turn of the month and means that anyone who wants to report a finding can photograph the tick and write a short report.
SVA hopes to be able to make maps of distribution, and also warn of areas where Lyme disease or TBE is spreading.
