An Israeli special force stormed the hospital to assassinate him and his companions, one of whom was his brother Muhammad. The medical director at Ibn Sina Hospital, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Shoubaki, confirms that what happened is a violation of the sanctity of the hospital, and of all laws that guarantee the right to treatment.
