The provincial director of the National Intelligence Agency (ANR), his two deputies as well as a spokesperson for the governor of North Kivu have been arrested in Goma. They are suspected by the general directorate of military intelligence of complicity with the M23.

Sources close to the matter remain discreet and simply mention suspicions of collusion with the enemy. A security official explains that if investigations establish evidence of complicity, all these people will be brought to justice. The information is in any case taken very seriously in Kinshasa, which is strengthening its civil and military intelligence systems.
