[HIGHLIGHTS] DRC: in the territory of Djugu, insufficient humanitarian aid in the face of the scale of the needs

Djugu, in Ituri, is one of the eastern DRC territories ravaged by decades of community-based conflict. Due to a lack of access and security difficulties, few NGOs can access the Lendu side.

On the Hema side, the IDP camps are always full. Several NGOs are involved in this camp. Funds remain insufficient in relation to needs and access to the complex area. The state of siege has been in place for two years. The army governs is ineffective in restoring security. The civilian population seems to be abandoned.
