Dozens of Muslims performed the first Tarawih prayer of the holy month of Ramadan in Times Square. Times Square is one of the most important symbols of New York City, the largest city in the United States of America.

Millions of Muslims residing in the U.S. flocked to mosques to performTarawih prayers for the month ofRamadan 1445 AH. Muslims set up a special corner to give away copies of the Holy Qur’an to passersby in Timessquare. A large crowd of worshipers gathered in the outer square of the mosque.
