Domestic analogue of Chess.com launched in Russia. myChess.app was created by Russian programmers.
Since March 2024, when the platform was operating in test mode, it has already hosted children's and student tournaments, corporate league team matches and regional streams. Earlier, Russian grandmaster Sergei Shipov said that one should not be surprised by the departure of famous chess players from chess.com. Later, grandmaster Sergey Karyakin said that Russia needs to develop its own platform for playing chess on the Internet.
