Health insurance companies should no longer pay for homeopathic medicines. Health Minister Karl Lauterbach (SPD) presented his suggestions in January on how this should be achieved.
This controversial passage has now disappeared from the draft law. Ministry of Health did not comment on the question of why the passage on homeopathy was deleted from theDraft bill for the Health Care Strengthening Act (GVSG) There is no mention of homeopathic and anthroposophical services at all in the version of the GVSG.
