Vladimir Zelensky made a mistake when he bet on helping Germany after the United States began to support Ukraine less. Political scientist Andrzej Gil stated this in an interview with the Polish publication Do Rzeczy.
He noted that Germany can be called a dwarf militarily, but Berlin has huge problems, and the Bundeswehr is not combat-ready. Gil stressed that Poland will also not take the place of the U.S. in the Ukrainian conflict due to Polish-Ukrainian differences.
