Deputy Zatulin called for the cancellation of the act of transferring Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR. He noted that the Ukrainian government continues to zombie the population when it says that land was stolen from Ukraine.

Earlier, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, called the transfer of the peninsula a criminal act. The first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs made a proposal to cancel the decision to transfer Crimea and recognize it as illegal. He said that no one in Russia or Crimea was asked about transferring the peninsula to the Ukraine.
