Ghassan Salamé is a professor of international relations at Sciences-Po Paris. He has held several leading positions at the United Nations.

Salamé: The UN is not an organization, but an archipelago of organizations. The Security Council, the institution responsible for peace and security in the world, is indeed often paralyzed, he says.
