Arnaud Démare of Groupama-FDJ wins the second stage of the Tour de France. The three-time France champion beat Tobias Lund Andresen and Jordi Meeus in the sprint.
The 31-year-old is hoping to compete in the Tour from 1 to 23 July. He was part of a group of 23 strikers that included other sprinters (Biniam Girmay, Bryan Coquard, Tom Van Asbroeck, Clément Venturini) but not Belgian Tim Merlier.
