Countries suspended their funding to UNRWA. The Palestinian Authority accuses Israel of launching a campaign to liquidate the agency.
Canada, Australia, Italy, the United Kingdom, Finland, the Netherlands, Germany, France and Japan. Norway announced yesterday, Sunday, that it would continue to fund the agency despite doubts about the involvement of some of its employees in the Hamas attack on Israel, and thus the positions of those countries were proven. The US State Department referred to the "critical role" ofUNRWA in helping the Palestinians.
