Prince Charles is known for his positions and his ecological actions, sometimes in contradiction with his lifestyle. The young Charles warns very early on about the harmful effects of pollution on biodiversity.

Charles III began converting some of his land to organic farming in 1985. The sovereign installed woodchip boilers in his homes and converted his Jaguar and Land Rover to biodiesel, made from used cooking oil, among other environmentally friendly measures. He is building a model village to test the use of eco-friendly materials and waste sorting.
