[HIGHLIGHTS] Confrontations and arrests in the West Bank. European shock from settler violence and calls for Israel to halt demolitions and confiscation

EU expresses its "shock" at attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinians in the villages of Burqa in the Nablus district and al-Mughayyir (east of Ramallah) in the occupied West Bank. Diplomatic missions of 10 European countries, in addition to the European Union representative in the Palestinian territories, also called on Israel to stop all demolitions and confiscations.

UN data indicates that there is an upward trend in settler attacks on Palestinians, and that these attacks are becoming more violent.
