Clay tablets from the Hittite kingdom excavated by Japanese research team from ancient Turkish ruins. The clay tablets were excavated at the Buklukale ruins in central Turkey.

Based on the shape of the letters, the clay tablets are thought to date from the time of the Hitite Kingdom around the 14th century B.C., approximately 3,300 years ago. The first six lines of the 70-line text inscribed on the clay tablet read in Hittites, including the capital Hattusha.
