Clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and the Israeli occupation forces during their raid into Joseph's Tomb area in Nablus city. Israeli occupation soldiers stormed the area in order to enable groups of settlers to hold Talmudic rituals there.

The occupying forces used a bulldozer to remove earth mounds and tires placed by youths in the street leading to the grave to obstruct the incursion and the settlers' buses. In a parallel context, the Israeli occupied forces arrested 19 Palestinians during a campaign of arrests launched in Palestinian towns, villages and cities in the West Bank.
