Chinese modern dance poetry drama "Poetry of Dongpo" debuted at Lincoln Center in New York, USA. Nearly 2,000 viewers watched the performance that night.
The play takes modern dance that integrates traditional Chinese opera, Tai Chi and other ethnic elements as the main body. It combines multiple listening effects such as poetry, calligraphy, guqin, painting, and seal cutting to show the affection, worry and nostalgia of the poet Su Dongpo. The drama will be performed in the United States for 8 performances, including 4 performances each in the capital Washington and New York.
