Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang held talks with Foreign Minister Baerbock in Berlin. Foreign MinisterBaerbock urged action to stop Russia's invasion of the situation in Ukraine.
Qin said, "The only way out is to create the conditions for a political solution" Qin is scheduled to visit France and Norway after this, and has indicated that China attaches importance to relations with Europe amid the ongoing confrontation with the United States. He also warned that if sanctions were imposed on Chinese companies, "China will also take necessary measures to resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights"
