Competition among countries in lunar exploration is becoming even more intense, as last week an unmanned lander developed by an American private company became the first private company in the world to successfully land on the moon. They plan to collect and bring back the world's first samples around the moon's south pole, where it has been pointed out that water may exist in the form of ice.
