Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi meets with Naha mayor and others to “work towards reducing the burden on bases”. Hayashi: “I was able to frankly listen to the impact and concerns caused by the location of U.S.
military facilities. I want to do everything in my power to do so. I did. I conveyed my thoughts on what I am working towards.” Hayashi also met with Mayor Matsumoto of Urasoe City and the heads of three local governments, including Kin Town, where US military's Camp Hansen is located.
