March 21st every year is the Naurus Festival, a traditional festival in Central Asian countries. In Kazakhstan, President Tokayev celebrated the holiday with local people in Almaty.

Kyrgyzstan President Zhaparov said that the festival means the beginning of the new year and symbolizes the unity and harmony between man and nature. President Emomali Rahmon of Tajikistan said that Naurus is a life-giving festival, and festival ceremonies guide people towards tolerance and kindness.
