The management of the 76th edition of the Festival "Cannes" announced its official selection of films. Despite the presence of Turkish, French and Italian films, Hollywood production dominated the selections in terms of number.
For the first time in 18 years, the management of Cannes decided to honor an African filmmaker, Malian Souleymane Cissé. Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh, winner of the Oscar for Best Actress in 2023, and the famous American star Harrison Ford will also receive a special honor.
