[HIGHLIGHTS] Cannes: Gondry tells the story of creative madness and its damage in a comedy starring Pierre Niney

"The book of solutions" is inspired by a "difficult period" in the life of Michel Gondry. The film was highly applauded Sunday at the Filmmakers' Fortnight in Cannes.

The director says he learned to keep a little humor and not be malicious in that time. "You really have to think about what it will happen if you get angry, keep alittle humor," he says. "The Book of Solutions" is out now on Blu-ray and DVD.
