Canadian budget airline Bobcat Air announces end of operations. Bobcat Airlines' first flight took off on April 7, 2022.
The company currently has nine Boeing 737-8 passenger aircraft. In addition to routes within Canada, the company also operates routes to Cancun, Mexico and many cities in the United States. Canadian Federal Transport Minister Rodriguez said in a statement that the suspension will have an impact on passengers, employees and their families, as well as communities across Canada. He said that government departments will maintain communication with other airlines to ensure that passengers are put first.
