In Cameroon, a former sub-prefect sentenced to ten years in prison for the murder of his partner. The judgment was rendered on March 6 by the military court of Ebolowa, capital of the Southern region.

Franck Derlin Eyono Ebanga was initially prosecuted for the involuntary manslaughter of Lydienne Taba, killed by bullets on July 25, 2020. In its fight against femicide, the ALVF pleads for the sentences to be doubled when the crimes are committed by relatives of the victims.
