Bypass roads are the most dangerous Judaization settlement measures in the West Bank. “Hawara Settlement Street” - as it has become known - is one of dozens of settlement roads through which Israel circumvents the laws, the terrain, the lives of the Palestinians and their property.
The road that used to take about 5 minutes now requires more than half an hour. Palestinians are prohibited from approaching the street because it is a military zone. The occupation installed military gates on the edge of the street, thus turning it into a large prison.
