British aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales departs for NATO exercise after delay. Earlier it became known that the British Navy aircraft carrier Queen Elizabeth would not appear at NATO exercises due to a breakdown.
Later, the departure of another British aircraft carrier, HMSPrince of Wales, to participate in the largest NATO exercise Steadfast Defender 2024 was postponed for unknown reasons. The British Navy website says the ship will lead an international task force in one of the most important military exercises in a generation. The ship will sail towards Norway.
