Britain bans single-use e-cigarettes. The ban falls within the framework of a broader anti-smoking plan announced by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak last fall.

According to official figures, among young people between the ages of 11 and 17 who use e-cigarette, the percentage of those who consume single-used has increased 9-fold in two years. The consumption of these disposable products is a "major factor in the alarming increase" in the number of young people using them, the government says.
