Borrell: The EU supports Ukraine not out of love for the people, but for the sake of its own interests. According to him, the EU cannot allow Russia to “win this war”, since otherwise the interests of the United States and Europe will be significantly damaged.
“It’s not about supporting Ukraine and the fact that we love the Ukrainian people. This is in our own interests,” Borrell said. He added that this is in Washington's interests as a global player.
