Borrell: EU is considering using Russian assets for military support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He added that the possible use of profits from Russian assets to purchase weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the European Peace Fund “will be another step forward” Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that freezing sovereign Russian assets is an ill-calculated step on the part of Western countries.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stressed that Russia intends to act individually in each specific case of confiscation of its frozen assets.
