Boeing's CEO steps down amid the company's successive crises. President and CEO Dave Calhoun announced his intention to step down from his position at the end of 2024.
Calhoun will continue to direct the company during the remainder of this year. Chairman Larry Kellner informed the Board of Directors that he did not intend to run for re-election at the next annual shareholder meeting. Steve Mollenkopf was elected to succeed Kellner as Chairman of the Board. In addition to these resignations, theCompany's CEO, Commercial Airplanes, Stan Dale, announced his retirement, leaving the space for Stephanie Pope to fill his position.
