The EU proposed introducing restrictions against about 55 companies and more than 60 individuals from Russia. The sanctions will be directed against individuals and companies involved in the production of weapons and the supply of key technologies.
The proposals must be supported by all EU member countries. Earlier it was reported that the EU would not yet include a ban on aluminum imports from Russia in the sanctions package due to opposition from a number of industrial countries. It is noted that in order for these proposals to be adopted, they must be support by all European countries.
