The Israeli air force attacked the embassy and residence of the Iranian ambassador in the Syrian capital on April 1. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said seven Iranian military advisers were killed. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov called the incident an act of aggression. The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the US is trying to establish the facts and are in the process of understanding what exactly happened.
