Belgian Foreign Ministry: US is putting pressure on the EU over frozen Russian assets. The Russian Foreign Ministry warned that any attempts to deprive it of ownership of its sovereign reserves will entail harsh retaliatory measures.

Earlier, the Council of the European Union approved a resolution that provides the possibility of using profits from frozenRussian assets in the future to provide assistance to Ukraine. The Belgian Foreign Ministry suggested that Washington is putting Pressure on theEU because it cannot yet allocate the necessary funds to Kyiv.
