The depth of the Dnieper in the Zaporozhye region will decrease by no more than seven meters. This is due to uncontrolled discharge of water in the dam of the Kakhovka reservoir.

Earlier, the head of the Crimea said that water from the North Crimean Canal, which will become shallow after the explosion of the hydroelectric power station, is currently being pumped into the bulk reservoirs of the peninsula. He also said that the option of pumping water directly to Crimea is being worked out with the federal authorities.
