Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Chinese counterpart Qin Gang discussed the crisis in India. The talks took place in a traditionally trusting and constructive manner, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, which said it was a step in the right direction. The meeting was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, who are expected to meet later this week.
