Backpacks have their advantages when cycling, especially in cities: you can quickly switch between the bike and the bus without having to reload your luggage. We tested six cycling backpacks with notebook compartments. The Urban Ex Backpack does not have a hip belt, but does have an adjustable chest strap. The backpack stays upright when filled, but can also be easily rolled up at the top.
