Coordinator of strategic communications at the US National Security Council John Kirby on NBC called the negotiations between CIA chief William Burns serious to conclude a deal between Hamas and Israel. "Burns will travel to Cairo next week to meet with Egyptian officials about efforts to begin negotiations on a new agreement aimed at freeing the remaining prisoners in Gaza," Axios reported, citing sources.
