Attack in Moscow: dead and injured after shots and explosion in concert hall. Several attackers apparently opened fire in a city hall near Moscow.
Apparently there were explosions in the building, and there are reports of many dead. The background to the incident remains unclear; there was repeated talk of a possible ‘terrorist attack’ The White House said it was ‘dismayed’ by the events, and asked Americans in Moscow not to leave their location for the time being. The fire spread to about a third of the building and almost the entire roof, according to reports.
