Faith Kipyegon breaks 5,000m world record at Paris Diamond League meeting. Kenyan had never done better than 14:31.95 in eight years.
Last Friday she broke the 1,500m record in Florence, Italy. Two-time Olympic and two-time world champion is training partner of marathon king Eliud Kipchoge, a friend of Kipchégon's. The Paris meeting is one year before the Paris Olympics (athletics take place at the Stade de France).
