A four-story residential building collapsed this morning in Marseille and has left at least five injured. The incident originated after midnight with a loud explosion in this building located on Tivoli Street, next to the Plaine neighborhood.

The specific causes that originated this detonation, which caused the collapse of the building hours later, are still unknown. 100 firefighters and 50 police officers working with canine units trying to find out if there are victims in the rubble. There are about thirty people who have been evacuated in nearby buildings, some of them also affected by the collapse.
