Columnist for The American Spectator magazine Samir Tata said that the Ukrainian conflict will end this year with an “October surprise” before the US elections. According to him, Ukraine will be “dissolved” and a “New Ukraine” will emerge based on a unilateral statement by the current government of the country.

An October surprise is an expression used in the United States to describe an event that occurs a month before the presidential election in November and has the potential to influence the outcome of the vote.
